About Me
I am passionate about education, and I have a deep love and respect for the learning and teaching process. I am excited about the opportunity to work with students one-on-one or in small groups, and I will work closely with you to help you achieve your educational goals! I am comfortable teaching all content areas at the elementary level, up to seventh grade. I am also able to offer tutoring in literature, social studies, and academic and essay writing at the secondary and post-secondary level. I look forward to hearing from you!
Education
In 2018, I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, with a minor in reading.
Teaching Experience
I have extended experience working in education. To elaborate, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in rural Alaska for six months during the 2018-2019 school year. I then moved back to Indiana, where I have been substitute-teaching. Though I have worked largely with elementary-age students, my time as a substitute has also allowed me to work frequently with secondary students.
Interests
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, hiking, and writing!
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
